Every Singapore company is legally required to appoint a licensed company secretary within 6 months of incorporation, as mandated under the Companies Act. Singapore law requires every company to maintain a valid local registered address at the point of incorporation. B&H provides a registered address service at the Singapore Business Federation Centre in the Central Business District, satisfying ACRA's requirement for companies without an existing physical office.
Annual filing with ACRA is a mandatory statutory obligation for all Singapore companies, regardless of whether the company is actively trading or dormant. Failure to file on time can result in late filing penalties and, in cases of prolonged non-compliance, the company being struck off the register.
